Leeteuk and Kang Sora meet for the first time on ‘We Got Married’

When they finally met in the empty movie theater, Leeteuk blushed and frantically looked around, garnering much laughter from the audience. Leeteuk then finally said, “Are you going to be my wife? Thank you.” To which Kang Sora confessed, “I woke up from my sleep a several times last night” while blushing.

Kang Sora also added, “I read the articles but there were a few other girls that were on the news as well so I wasn’t too sure“. Leeteuk, not knowing what to do or say, blurted out “You’re very pretty” in order to express his feelings, but the awkward tension still prevailed.

During the interview after their meeting, Leeteuk commented, “I had prepared some stuff before the meeting but as soon as I saw her, my mind went blank“.

The members of Super Junior also expressed their languish as they monitored their leader struggle through the first date.

The newest couple to join MBC‘s ’We Got Married‘ was finally been confirmed to be Super Junior‘s Leeteuk and actress Kang Sora! The two will officially join the show on October 8th.

In their first episode, the pair met in an empty movie theater for their introductions.

Leeteuk was very different from his boisterous image as an entertainer, for he showed a more serious side when meeting his ‘bride’. He even said, “I’m more nervous to meet my new wife than I was for Super Junior’s first broadcast. I’m excited to get married. I heard that my wife is a very beautiful lady.”

The new couple was hinted at briefly in a preview from last week’s episode.

Tickets for the Concert in Seoul will be Available on the 13th!

The King of global Korean Wave, Super Junior, will meet fans all over the world by having World Tour.

Starting from Seoul on the 11th, “SUPER JUNIOR WORLD TOUR ‘SUPER SHOW4’” will be held in major cities in the Americas, Europe, etc. as well as in Asia such as Osaka, Beijing, Taipei, Bangkok, Singapore, etc. so it is expected to make global music fans feel excited.

Especially Super Junior received an explosive response from music fans all across Asia through three tours including ‘SUPER SHOW3’ which was held in 13 cities in Asia for 20 times. Since Super Junior has received Lovecalls from many countries around the world, the concert scale will more expanded.

Leeteuk: I am usually reminded of my life when I first debuted at around 4am in the morning, and all those tear jerking moments, so I always try to sleep before 4am; However, I am prone to leaving emotional messages on my CY between the times of 3:30am to 4am, when I get up in the morning and read what I’ve written, I would think “Ah, such a emotional guy……”
Leeteuk: It’s really easy to get emotional during the wee hours of the morning, there’s nothing weird about this; Everybody should just think of this as “Ah, maybe the emotions that come out at that time are the true feelings.”
Leeteuk: I just remembered the days before our debut, our members, DBSK members and all our managers, all 22 ~ 23 of us staying together; I don’t really remember how we managed to live, we would just lie down when we wanted to sleep, person against person, without knowing whether it was a head or legs beside us, and those days where we weren’t allowed to cry.
Leeteuk: Why couldn’t we treat our family members better when they’re around? Just like me, I thought about this when my elder sister went overseas to further her studies, but now we’re so awkward when we’re together, even my expression is impatient when I’m talking to my family members; Didn’t I went back this Chuseok? My tone when speaking was quite harsh, I could sense that my mother was near to tears, even if I was thinking “I shouldn’t be like this, this isn’t what I meant” in my heart, it just came out as harsh.
Leeteuk: We were really busy before our comeback, my psyche wasn’t really good; Although my psyche still wasn’t very good after our comeback, there were all those Chuseok recordings, music programs and various schedules, but these are things to be happy about; Even though there’s so many schedules, I’m still happy; Even though I wonder “Can I do this?”, getting only 2 hours of sleep per day for 3 weeks, thoughts like “Ah I’m going to die.” fill my mind, these are still memorable memories.
Leeteuk: Although I have no idea for how long I can continue with my activities, I will do my best in all my activities till the day arrives~!

Ah, you guys don’t need to celebrate for me, I’ve always celebrated this day by myself; On the 20th of September 2000 I succeeded in the auditions of my present company and signed the contract with them, that’s why I celebrate every year; Here’s my recommended song for today – Sechskies “젝스키스” – COME BACK “컴백” & H.O.T – Descendents of Warriors “전사의 후예”;
Eunhyuk: Back then the competition between trainess & companies were quite tough, our friend Junsu passed the audition first, my first audition was in 1999, I had to sing a song that I was good at; I am a rapper, so I didn’t really had a song which I had practiced, and I wondered what song I should sing; Back then Sechskies “Come Back” was quite popular, so I sang that song as it was quite compatible with my vocals;
Eunhyuk: A week passed by and Junsu called me to say “Hyukjae-ah, you didn’t pass the auditions……”; After this I thought and came to the conclusion “Ah that’s right, I sang a Sechskies song for my audition at the company who were promoting HOT, if I were Lee Sooman Seonsaeng-nim I would have thought ‘What is this?’;” It’s no surprise that I failed;
Eunhyuk: I decided to try again in 2000, I really wanted to pass so I wreck my brains thinking about what song I should sing; In the end I chose H.O.T “Descendents of Warriors” & Shinwa’s “First Love”; There were people who said that I resembled Jang Woohyuk-ssi, the audition Seonsaeng-nim also said “Well you look like him, please sing a short part of Jang Woohyuk then”;
Eunhyuk: So I rapped Jang Woohyuk’s part live, danced to a Fly To The Sky song, and passed my auditions.
Eunhyuk: This is why when you guys go for an audition, you must do your homework and check up on the company, see what artistes they have under them; The truth is, like me, I’m not handsome, my singing wasn’t that good, in truth there are many people who can dance better than me, being able to pass the audition, debut and be active until now, it all depends on luck, hard work and passion, isn’t it? Let’s not forget, a proper song choice~!
Eunhyuk: I had a really honest teacher in Primary 4, I was kind of naughty back then, so the teacher wrote honestly on the comments section “This student is dishonest, his concentration wavers……etc”, my mother blew her top after reading it; These aren’t things that are left on records for our whole life, what if my feelings were hurt? If there are teachers listening to our program right now, please write good stuff / compliments for your students~!
Eunhyuk: Well my mother, pfft……My mother still treats me like a child, she keeps calling me “My baby~”; My father has been calling me “Handsome son~” “Handsome Hyukjae-ah~” since I was young; Although I don’t know if this is the truth, bet hearing them call me this day in day out, it boosts my confidence, even making me a bit proud~!X3 This is why I’ve never thought that I’m ugly, I even think that I’m handsome~!

Heechul sends a Chuseok message from training camp

On September 13th, the official Korean army training camp blog shared a video for Chuseok, which featured warm messages from Super Junior‘s Heechul and gagman Oh In Taek!The video kicks off with footage of the men playing various games together before they all settle down to perform the ‘charye‘ in front of a ceremonial table.‘Charye‘ is an important rite performed during the Chuseok holiday, as it honors one’s ancestors with a temporary shrine, containing certain foods and drinks. These items are placed in specific spots on a table, and many steps are included to properly show one’s respects.Heechul can be seen gravely handling one of the steps before the group bows down collectively, as per custom.Heechul greeted the public by stating, “Hello, this is the ‘big space star’, Kim Heechul. I hope that no one is sick over the Chuseok holiday. I’m at the Nonsan training camp receiving four weeks of training with everyone else, so please don’t worry. I hope you will all be well for your parents and family.”While many fans praised Heechul’s diligence in following through tradition, many others were distracted by how Heechul had a picture of Wonder Girls‘ Sohee on his cubby.Check out the video below!

Super Junior's Leeteuk says, "I will go to the army next year."

Male idol group Super Junior's Leeteuk said, "I will go to the army next year," at the SMTOWN press conference held on September 4th in Japan.

From September 2nd to 4th, the artist of SMTOWN held a concert at the Tokyo Dome with great success titled "SM TOWN LIVE IN TOKYO SPECIAL EDITION." Leeteuk said at the press conference, "I was my dream to perform at the Tokyo Dome. And I achieved it before I entered the military."

He then added, "I am scheduled to enter the military next year."

Regarding the concert, "I'd like to start out by telling Kangta thank you. He said that we were good and that he envies us but we're able to do what we do because of our seniors. That's why I felt great when we were singing his song 'Light.' We performed our predecessor's song 'Light' as the ending song for the concert."

Super Junior's Heechul became the 2nd member to enter the military after Kangin and entered officially at the basic military camp on September 1st. While Kangin is set to return next year, Leeteuk will be leaving for his military services. An official date has not yet been announced.

Super Junior will hold their "SUPER SHOW" starting in November in Seoul, with plans of performing in Japan as well on December 10th and 11th. ELF Japan will also be officially established.

September 1st, Super Junior’s Heechul thanked his fans and the press before formally enlisting with the army.

Hundreds of fans from all over the world crowded the entrance before his arrival. The star arrived wearing a hat, which he took off in order to greet his fans. With a bright smile, he began, “I wasn’t going to greet anyone before enlisting, but I think my haircut came out okay.”

He continued with a bow, “I’ll come back as an adult. Thank you so much for coming all the way out here. After making a cute pose for the cameras, he added, “Please edit the pictures nicely if you’re going to upload them!” (LOL)

Although he stayed for only a brief moment, he made sure to wave to his fans before leaving the scene. Hundreds of fans shouted in unison, “Be well, we’ll wait for you until the end.” Some emotional fans couldn’t help but shed tears over his enlistment.

Heechul will be receiving four weeks of training at the Nonsan training camp before beginning his service as a member of the public service personnel for 23 months. we will wait for you, kim heechul, fighting!

Super Junior’s Leeteuk is the first man to set foot in SISTAR’s dorm!

In an upcoming episode of KBS JOY’s ‘Super Junior and SISTAR’s Hello Baby‘, Leeteuk made a surprise visit to SISTAR’s dorm!

SISTAR’s dorm has never been shown on TV before, and even their managers have been barred from entering the sacred place. Despite the members blocking him from entering, Leeteuk became the first ever male to set foot in their dorm.

Leeteuk immediately put the opportunity to use by bringing out his variety skills. Not only did he dig around every corner of their rooms, but even revealed their diaries and searched for any traces of possible boyfriends.

Super Junior’s very own Heechul made some KPOP waves this past weekend as he revealed that he would be leaving for the army on September 1. This news naturally shocked fans all around the world as September 1 is only a week and a half away. And with his departure for two years, it means that Super Junior will be left with just 9 members until Kanginreturns in the summer of next year. So what does Heechul’s departure mean for Super Junior?

It’s a bit difficult to imagine life without Heechul. After all, Heechul is known for his crazy antics, his blunt personality, his honest nature. He’s not one to shy away from the camera and let others know what exactly is on his mind. He has definitely become a fan favorite with his 4D and spaceball personality and he has really endeared himself to us all.

After September 1, Super Junior will change as we know it. I don’t really see anyone matching up to Heechul’s crazy antics. Maybe it’ll take a combination of Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, and Shindong. But with Heechul’s departure to the army, we’ll probably see Leeteuk follow suit within the next couple of weeks, give or take a month. I wouldn’t be surprised if Leeteuk left around the same time as Heechul. That means the two will come back relatively at the same time. At most, Leeteuk will leave by the end of the year. And ELFs, expect that it’s coming. It shouldn’t come as a shock because really, the two have been mentioning it for some time now.

So what does it mean to have both the leader and the next-in-line gone? It means Super Junior will have a temporary leader, perhaps in Yesung or maybe in Eunhyuk. Or granted, there won’t even be a leader as Super Junior will most likely focus on its sub-groups. We could see Super Junior K.R.Y come out with their first album (which I would totally love to see). Super Junior-M seems to want and conquer more Asian markets. We could even see the birth of a new subgroup or maybe even see a member go solo (my money’s on Kyuhyun - have you noticed SM Entertainment is putting our evil maknae in more dance breaks and performances?). But definitely no new album as a group.

Nonetheless, Heechul’s absence will leave perhaps a great void in the group. I really don’t see anyone in the group stepping up to match him in personality, humor, bluntness, and DJ/MC skills. Heechul is definitely one-of-a-kind and the group will definitely miss him during these two years.

Kyuhyun shares story about his love at first sight incident

On the latest episode of SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun described his devastation over how he lost his crush to fellow member Eunhyuk.
Apparently, Kyuhyun met this mysterious crush when he went to the hospital after a car accident. He explained, “I went to take care of some hospital bills after receiving treatment, and I experienced love at first sight with a female employee there.”
Kyuhyun went on to say, “It was the very first time in my life that I really felt what love at first sight was like. I asked her for her phone number while taking out my phone, but after hesitating for about three seconds, she turned me down. People recognized me and started talking so I left the area, but I regretted leaving after being rejected only once — I decided to make plans in my own way.”
He decided that the best course of action was to use the same tactics that actor Park Shin Yang used in the drama ‘Lovers in Paris‘, but he soon learned that his crush had a boyfriend. Kyuhyun was so disappointed that he thought, “Fate must not exist.”

Surprisingly, Kyuhyun got to meet his crush again at a Super Junior fan meeting, and he thought, “Maybe she broke up with her boyfriend, and came to find me. As she got closer, I felt like my heart was about to burst, but then she got into Eunhyuk’s line. I found out right then that she was Eunhyuk’s fan.”
“Seeing her so shy as she asked for an autograph, I wondered to myself if this was a dream. If she had been Choi Siwon’s fan, I wouldn’t have said anything, but I was shocked that she was Eunhyuk’s fan. After that, I don’t believe in fate anymore.”

On the August 23rd episode of SBS’s Strong Heart‘, MC Kang Ho Dong suddenly asked the eldest Super Junior member, Kim Heechul, “How many Super Junior members came out today?”
Kim Heechul then answered, “In total, 10 members came out today“, afterwards Kang Ho Dong quickly asked, “How many are currently dating out of those 10?”

On August 23rd, ten members of Super Junior guested on SBS’s ‘Strong Heart‘ and ranked each other according to their looks.
The group unanimously agreed on Choi Siwon being #1.
They explained, “The absolute #1 is Choi Siwon. He has looks that all of the members acknowledge. It’s actually the bottom half that’s hard to rank.”
When asked to choose a specific member that they thought was unattractive, Kyuhyun and Ryeowook chose Eunhyuk. They reasoned, “Just looking at it 100% from a looks-based point of view, Eunhyuk comes last”, and “I’m jealous of everything about Eunhyuk… except his looks.”
Eunhyuk retorted, “I’m not saying I’m handsome or anything, but I don’t think Ryeowook is a position to be saying things like that.” Hilariously, he then chose Ryeowook as the least attractive member.
Ryeowook responded, “Eunhyuk’s face was covered for our recent concept. I think our company knows that Eunhyuk is lacking in the looks department.”

Super Junior’s Kim Heechul will enlist in the army this coming September the 1st.After enlisting at the recruitment centre in Nonsan, Chungnam province, he will spend four weeks in basic military training, and then spend 23 months doing civil service work.

As Super Junior is currently very popular worldwide, it is likely that both Korean and international press and fans will want to be present at his official entry into the army. However, following his wish to enlist quietly, there will be no enlistment event held.

Kim Heechul will continue his activities for Super Junior’s 5th album and MCing KBS’s “Golden Fishery Radio Star” and MBC’s “Secret” up until the time he enlists.

After a 5 days, 4 nights break, Kangin returns to army life

Super Junior’s Kangin has returned to the army today (12th August) after having a 5 days 4 nights break.Kangin, who is currently serving the army under the Water Prevention team as the signalman, went on a break on the 8th. He rested at home for 5 days 4 nights and had met up with friends during free-time, especially the Super Junior members who made a comeback with their new song “Mr. Simple” recently. It was reported that Kangin had helped the members generously.

Before Kangin took a break, videos of him providing aid for floods prevention to the locals at Seoul’s downtown areas in a warm manner were uploaded to the internet, which has also became a topic for the public. SISTAR and Super Junior’s Leeteuk have partnered up as the new mothers and father for KBS Joy’s popular reality program, ‘Hello Baby‘!

‘Hello Baby’ is a show that features the process of idol stars raising their very own baby. The program was previously led by SNSD, SHINee, and T-ara.

Despite the fact that they’re about to make a comeback with “So Cool“, the ladies of SISTAR are hard at work filming for the show with every spare moment they have.

PD Im Yong Hwan has grabbed the megaphone for season four. He said, “‘Hello Baby’ season four is like Papa Leeteuk’s ‘Find Mom’ project. It will show the process of finding the favorite mom amongst the four SISTAR members. Putting aside the image as popular pop stars, SISTAR showed off their fresh, cute charms for the program, while Leeteuk showed off a dependable side.”

On an episode of a popular KBS entertainment news program that aired on the 6th, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun surprisingly expressed his confidence.

Mr. Simple is the second song that has lyrics that are "critical" after the song Don't Don who quip about corruption. hhehe LOL.

Maybe not everyone can "ON" with the song Mr. Simple, but if you want to read and see the meaning of the lyrics, maybe Mr Simple melody rather make a"dizzy" head was indeed fitting and appropriate.

Hyuk: And then the people beside him were supposed to go ‘ohhhh’.
Teuk: “Shindong, what are you doing?”
